By purchasing or activating a PSM SMART VEHICLE TAG, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all vehicle owners, secondary drivers, and any individual interacting with the QR-based communication interface.

2. Description of Service
PSM SMART VEHICLE TAG provides a QR-coded identification system that allows third parties to contact a vehicle owner without disclosing the owner’s private mobile number. Services include:
  • Emergency Alerts: Notifications regarding accidents, medical emergencies, or towing.
  • Parking Assistance: Alerts for blocked driveways or traffic obstructions.
  • Vehicle Status: Alerts for open windows, flat tires, or lights left on.

3. User Obligations & Privacy
  • Data Accuracy: You are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information in the PSM SMART VEHICLE TAG User Portal.
  • Privacy: In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (2026), PSM SMART VEHICLE TAG ensures that your phone number remains masked during the initial contact phase.
  • Consent: By activating the tag, you consent to receive automated SMS, WhatsApp, or app notifications triggered by a tag scan.

4. Compliance with 2026 Regulations
  • MoRTH Standards: PSM SMART VEHICLE TAG operates in alignment with the latest Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) guidelines regarding vehicle safety and identification.
  • RFID/Fastag Integration: If your tag is an integrated model, it must remain unobstructed to ensure secondary sensors (like toll booth readers) function correctly.

5. Limitation of Liability
  • Network Availability: PSM SMART VEHICLE TAG relies on third-party cellular and internet networks. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered alerts caused by network outages or "dead zones."
  • Scanner Misconduct: PSM is a communication facilitator. We are not responsible for the behavior of individuals who scan the tag or any interactions that occur offline between the scanner and the owner.
  • Tag Condition: It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the tag is clean and scannable. We are not liable for alerts missed due to a faded, scratched, or improperly placed tag.

6. Prohibited Use
Users shall not use the service to:
  • Stalk or harass other vehicle owners.
  • Provide false information to emergency services.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the QR encryption or PSM software.

7. Subscription and Renewal
  • Validity: The standard tag remains valid for the duration specified at the time of purchase (typically 1–3 years).
  • Renewal: Renewal notices will be sent 30 days prior to expiration. Failure to renew will result in the QR code being deactivated and redirected to a "Service Expired" page.
